Is general admission really free?
Yes, completely free. Walk in anytime during event hours. No ticket, no registration, no catch.
What is a premium ticket and how do I get one?
Premium tickets include early entry and preferred seating in select speaker sessions. They will be available for purchase closer to the event date. Check back at the Tickets page or follow us on Facebook for announcements.
Where is the event held?
The Mid-MO Homestead Expo is held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, MO. Specific venue details for the next event will be announced closer to the date. Follow us on Facebook for updates.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely. This is a family-friendly event.
Will there be food available?
Yes, food vendors are on site both days including a food truck, fresh-squeezed lemonade, coffee, and more.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, a bag for your purchases, cash or card, and your curiosity. Some sessions fill up fast, so arriving early helps.
How do I become a vendor or speaker?

Will the event happen rain or shine?
Yes. Most of the event is indoors at the Assembly Hall. Some outdoor demos may be adjusted for weather.
Is this a trade show?
No. This is an education-first, community event. Vendors are local makers, growers, and producers who are actively living this lifestyle.
