Vendor Information

The Mid-MO Homestead Expo is built around local makers, growers, educators, and small businesses who are actually living the work they do. Our vendor floor is not a place for passive browsing - it is where real conversations happen, where people find their new favorite local farm, and where attendees leave with something useful in their hands.

We keep our vendor lineup curated and intentional. That means we limit similar vendor categories to make sure everyone has a fair shot, and we prioritize vendors who fit the spirit of the event: practical, community-focused, and rooted in real skills and products.

Vendor Terms

Vendor Selection: Applications are reviewed and curated by the event organizers. Acceptance is not first come first served. We limit vendor categories to three vendors of a similar type in order to keep the event diverse and give everyone a fair shot at sales. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Returning Vendors: Previous Mid-MO Homestead Expo vendors in good standing receive priority consideration during the application review process. We value the relationships we have built and want to honor the vendors who have grown with us.

Booth Spaces: Vendors may purchase a maximum of two booth spaces. Multi-space requests are subject to availability and organizer approval.

Setup and Breakdown: Vendors must be fully set up and ready before doors open and may not begin breaking down until the event has officially closed for the day. Early breakdown is not permitted without prior approval from event organizers.

Booth Space: Vendors must stay within their assigned booth space at all times. Displays, signage, and merchandise may not extend into aisles or neighboring spaces.

Tables, Chairs, and Displays: Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, and display materials. Nothing may be taped to the walls. Banners must be freestanding or use a proper stand. Main floor vendors along the wall have zip tie points available - bring your own zip ties.

Electrical and Generators: Use of electricity or generators must be disclosed on your application and approved in advance. Unapproved electrical use or generators are not permitted.

Food Vendors: Food vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and complying with applicable health regulations. Proof of compliance may be requested.

Insurance: Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry their own liability insurance. The Mid-MO Homestead Expo and its organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.

Conduct: This is a family-friendly, community-focused event. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. The event organizers reserve the right to remove any vendor, display, or merchandise that is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or not aligned with the purpose and values of the expo. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Promotional Agreement: Vendors agree to share three promotional posts about the Mid-MO Homestead Expo in the 30 days leading up to the event. Sample post text will be provided. Post dates are 30 days out, 7 days out, and 3 days out from the event.
